Greetings. The program is getting progressively better! Many thanks. Just a suggestion - have a look at the wording on the download site. It seems as if there are a couple of words missing.

Is the connector in your software available, I couldn't find it.

I think of this:

Yes, you can find it in the toolbox under the name Transition.

I think, you didn't understand me.

I though of the circles with the number that you can see in the linked picture.

This connector is used to continue a very long diagram in the next row.

Sorry, my mistake. I overlooked it in the UML specification. Thank you for your notice. Connectors will be availabe in version 5. (I have added this new element today, but I need a few more weeks to complete other features in the new version).

Hi Dusan - the new version is really good and much easier to use! Many thanks.

There seems to be a problem with formatting text. If I highlight text and click on Bold, it does not seem to get included in the diagram. Same with font size - it doesn't seem to change.

Many thanks,

Hi,

thank you for your positive words.

Do you mean the Bold button in tab Documentation in the right side bar? If so, this button refers to formatting of documentation text in the text area below the bar with buttons.

In any case I will test formatting better in the whole application.

How do you rotate the swimlanes and activities?

If you mean rotate swimlane together with activities, it is not yet possible.

If you want rotate only swimlane - change its orientation it is possible this way:

1) Double click on swilane or click on Properties from its context menu.

2) On Swimlane tab, change orientation to vertical or horizontal.

Displaying shape's name 3/14/2011 9:50:36 AM

Hi there! How can I see shape's name in activity diagram? I want to display decision rules on shape "decision" (diamond).

The same problem with standard shapes (rectangle, ellipse): the "name" attribute is not displayed on the shape.

Thanx a lot!

Hi!

The name of decision node shouldn't be displayed according to UML specification. Instead, you can use 'Comment' element for decision rule.

Names of shapes are for information only. Shape elements from drawing group have only one role - simply show its shape. They can be combined with 'Text' element.

It would be helpful if, when using "transition" one could use 'control+click' on each of the two activities so that when I click on 'transition' it has already captured the start and end points.

Thank you very much for the interesting tip. I will implement it soon - no later than in version 5.

The page which lists the files becomes cluttered with versions of the various documents. Possibly a date and time could be appended so the latest version is obvious. Or maybe previous versions should appear in a separate sheet labelled 'previous versions' and only the latest version of each document be displayed.

Many thanks!

Version 4.86 should fix this problem. I have also added for each project the whole path in parentheses.
