I hope I understood the intention correctly. The problem, in this case, is that the ends of connectors are locked to an exact position on the central class border. To fix it, select the area around the class so that the class and all the relationships around it are selected. Then unselect the class (CTRL + click) and finally right-click to any of selected relationships and choose Lock / Unlock Both Ends.
