Glossary (again) in read only mode

Support

I've had this problem a few years ago, where you did send me an update file.

Now, again, the glossary opens, but in read only mode.

I am using SIM 15.16.0.0 and I have the 'Premium' edition. Still running under Windows 10 Pro.

Thanks for your support!

Regards from Switzerland

Charles

Hello Charles,

thank you for your message and for using Software Ideas Modeler all these years.

The Glossary edit feature is available starting from the Professional edition and higher. In the Premium edition, the Glossary can be opened, but it is read-only, which is why you are experiencing this behavior.

Kind regards,

Dusan

Thanks for the info, Dusan.

I will then later consider to upgrade.

The product really is top notch and supports the full circle of designing database applications!

Kind regards from Switzerland, Charles

RE: Printing Glossary?

Good evening Dusan

Probably a stupid question, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to print out the glossary . The 'Documentation' on the other hand seems to be printable, though.

Thanks again for your input!

Kind regards from Switzerland!

Charles

RE: RE: Printing Glossary?

Hello Charles,

Sorry for the late response.

Actually, the glossary itself cannot be printed directly. However, you can generate documentation that includes the glossary and then print that result.

To do this, use either the Glossary template or GlossaryTable when generating documentation. Once the documentation is generated, it can be printed normally.

You can find this option in:

Ribbon → Process tab → Generation group → Documentation
