Image export to network location failes (#1654)
Dear Dusian,
I was trying to export an diagram to a network path:
\\drive1\test-folder
If I paste the path to the output directory field and click on "OK" then I get the following error message:
Title: Wrong Output Directory
Chosen output directory '\\......\...' does not exist or is not available for writing.
Is this a bug or normal behaviour?
I have not mapped all network locations to a local windows network drive (with an drive letter, e.g. G:\). So exporting to a valid network path location would be great!
Loading and saving project files workes fine from this location.
Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks for investigating.
My current work-around is to export to my desktop and manually move it to the destination on the network path.
This works fine.
I'm not aware that Software Ideas Modeler runs with a different user or policy.
Is there a way to produce a trace log or debug message? I'm happy to provide you more details.

You are welcome. We will analyze the issue further and add some trace logs for this operation at least.

Thanks a lot!
I tried the new version 12.79 and exporting to a network path does work now.

Dear Sebastian,
We could not reproduce the mentioned problem. The problem could be that the network path is not accessible for writing at all or for the user under which Software Ideas Modeler runs.
