Position sidebar buttons vertically so you can see them all. (#446)

Sidebar has a row of buttons above it corresponding to the different panels which it can contain (Project, Documentation, Style etc). However to actually view all these buttons the sidebar would have to be wide enough to take up half the entire application window.

It would be far better if these panel buttons were arranged vertically along the outside of the sidebar.
