Software Ideas Modeler 15.25 – Faster Navigation and Smarter Diagram Creation

Software Ideas Modeler 15.25 continues refining everyday diagram work with faster keyboard navigation, smarter element placement, and extended modeling flexibility. This release also delivers important stability improvements following the recent platform migration, ensuring a smoother experience across complex projects.

Directional Selection with Keyboard Shortcuts

Navigating dense diagrams is now quicker and more intuitive. With ALT + Arrow keys, you can instantly select the nearest element to the left, right, above, or below the current selection. This makes keyboard-driven editing far more efficient, especially when working with tightly packed or large diagrams.

Improved Snapline Behavior When Drawing

Snaplines are now applied already at the initial position when drawing a new element. This change ensures better alignment from the very first moment an element appears on the diagram, reducing the need for manual repositioning and helping maintain clean, consistent layouts.

Custom Stereotype Attributes

Version 15.25 introduces support for custom stereotype attributes, giving you more flexibility when extending modeling languages. This enhancement allows stereotypes to better reflect project-specific semantics and domain-specific requirements, improving expressiveness and clarity in advanced models.

Stability Improvements After .NET Migration

Several crashes related to the recent migration to .NET 10 have been resolved. These fixes significantly improve application stability, particularly in scenarios involving larger models and more complex diagrams.
