RE: Sequense Diagram

The self-message rendering in the communication diagram has been fixed in version 3.26.

RE: Sequense Diagram

Hi! Thank you.

If you want to create a self-message, select some message tool, click on a lifeline and hold, move a bit and release the mouse button (you have to be still over the same lifeline), then adjust the created activation bars. Creation of self-messages will be easier and more intuitive in the version 4.0.

The problem with the comunication diagram self-messages will be solved soon.

Editing multiple classes

When you choose multiple classes and edit the background color for example, only the first class being edited.

Dusan Rodina - softwareideas.net 25 April 2010 17:47:12

RE: Editing multiple classes

This will be improved in the version 4.0. Currently, only one element can be edited in the properties dialog at a time. If you want apply one style to many elements, you can use the Style pane in the Side bar. There you can define a custom style and apply it to any number of elements.

Class Diagram Bug

Add an Class in a Class Diagram.

Then add an 'Operation' using the "Add" button.

There, when you try to select a 'custom' type by the 'operations', you can not specify the Custom type.

When you "Enter" the info in "Operation Editor", the new operations will be added to the previous information, not replaced as it should be.

grtz

renaming diagrams

When you rename a diagram the word "(Diagram)" is automatically appended to your new name.

Dusan Rodina - softwareideas.net 19 April 2010 11:14:34

RE: renaming diagrams

This is a designed behavior. The word "(Diagram)" is not a real part of the diagram name, it is displayed only in the project tree to better distinguish diagrams.

Would you like me to add the option for hiding this description in the settings?

RE: RE: renaming diagrams

ok I see. The problem then is when you edit the name of the diagram because the string "(Diagram)" is in the name you're editing and so you have to remove it otherwise you end up with something like that : "My name (Diagram) (Diagram)".

RE: RE: RE: renaming diagrams

Fixed in version 3.25

P.S. I first tried another way of renaming, that's why I didn't notice this problem just then.

copy of a diagram element into another

When you try to copy an element from one diagram to another the behavior is not very clear. When you copy one element only it works but the copied element is hidden in the new diagram and you have to select if to make it visible. If you select multiple element nothing seems to be copied.

It also would be great to be able to create a diagram by duplicating an other.
