RE: Lost alignment of components in Sequence Diagr

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this issue. Could you send me, please, some example screenshots which show the diagram before exiting the application and after reopening to my e-mail.

RE: RE: Lost alignment of components in Sequence D

Hi

I have sent you an email. I have more than one sequence diagrams in a single project. By opening, saving and closing project multiple times will start moving all action call and return call lines and messages go in upward direction of the diagram.

Thanks

Rajesh

Use case diagram lacks realization arrow

I can create Association, Include, Extend and Generalization type arrows, but not the Realization type (as it is drawn in my ULM users guide book)

'Extension points' not removed after deletion of e

In Use case diagram, if I add an extension the Use case gets an artifact station 'Extension points'. However if I delete the extension, the Use case is not restored ('Extension points' artifact removed).

Arrow keys

Arrow keys (left/right) does not function when changing the name of a diagram in hierarcial view.

Could be good in order to find the right spot where to edit.

A reused instance does not update if edited

I don't know how it is supposed to work, but I created a package in one diagram an then I copied this instance to another diagram by selecting it in the hierarcial view.

There is some kind of icon displayed above the package (like a blue little camera or something) and I guess that symbol illustrates that the instance is reused.

I added some object to the package in one diagram (Use Case) but the second instance did not change, showing the new content. However, if I changed the name, that change was displayed in both instances.

My guess is that there should be only one single entity that is shared between the diagrams and that an edit in one place should show in the other? Or have I misunderstood the purpose?

RE: A reused instance does not update if edited

This behavior is expected. This makes possible to emphasize different details (objects) of package in other diagrams.

Nevertheless, I will try to improve reused element handling soon. There will be certainly more options and settings.

System boundary issues with connectors

I'm working on a Use case diagram and decided to move some use cases into a System boundary object, and these use cases was already connected to both other use cases and actors that stayed outside the system boundary.

I found that many connectors (Associations and Generalizations) was not selectable until I manually selected them using the hierarcial view in the right pane and applied Arrange -> Order -> Bring to front.

The connectors where visible on screen, but was rendered as behind the system boundary box in print preview.

I would like to see that the connectors 'follows' the object connected to when doing these kinds of wrapping changes.

RE: System boundary issues with connectors

All your reported issues will be fixed soon in the next release (planned release date: December, 13th - 15th).

Print dialog 'locks' to default printer

Found that with multiple printers selected, it seems as if the Print function always reverts to the default printer even if I try to select another.

Hi,

I was trying to align some shapes. With 'snap to grid' enabled. Some shapes don't align nicely, because they are different sizes. So when I resize the shapes the connection like an arrow forms a horizontal or vertical line. If I don't resize, the connection is a little off horizontal or vertical. A little annoying and it takes work to resize all shapes.

I will try to make better work with arrows/relations in one of next releases.
