Software Ideas Modeler 15.15 – Smarter Simulation and Better Usability

Simulation Enhancements

Version 15.15 brings simulation support to additional diagram types. You can now simulate:

• SysML v2 flows
• BPMN diagrams
• Screen Flow diagrams

These improvements allow modelers to validate their designs dynamically and ensure system flows and business processes behave as intended.

New Selection Actions

To improve navigation and editing within complex diagrams, two new selection features have been introduced:

• Select All Incoming Elements – quickly highlight all elements leading into the chosen one.
• Select All Outgoing Elements – instantly select all elements that follow from the current node.

These additions save time when analyzing dependencies and restructuring large models.

Improved Smart Keys in Sequence Diagrams

The handling of Messages in UML Sequence Diagrams has been fine-tuned. With smarter keyboard shortcuts, inserting new messages is now faster and more intuitive.
